Masters Challenge on July 28

The annual Masters Challenge race for the 40+ crowd is coming up on Wednesday, July 28, 7PM at the beautiful and convenient Rockefeller State Preserve. This is a competition between the local running clubs - Taconic, Westchester, Bronx, and RRR.

Please join us for some fun competition. This will be a 3mi race on well maintained carriage trails. We need 10 people to score in the Open competition. Please spread the word and reserve this date on your calendar. You must be 40 or older to compete. RRR members of all ability levels are encouraged to join us.

Here is a link for more information on the park:

Go to the main entrance of the park. Directions: Go north on Rt 9 past Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow to Rt 117. Take Rt 117 East. The park entrance is on the right a little way up.

There will be a party afterward at a house nearby.

If members want to car pool, please meet at the Park & Ride at the Palisades Mall (across from where Home Depot is) at 5:30 PM. Please coordinate individually and be prepared to drive. I am going directly from work in Westchester, so I will not be car pooling.
